The funeral of Henry Robinson brought out a large company of sorrowing friends and neighbors, who gathered at his late home at Rosendale Center to pay tribute to one whose life for the past 30 years has been spent among them. the rev. e. G. Hamley of berlin spoke words of comfort and cheer to the sorrowing ones, and accompanied by Mrs. Hamley, furnished appropriate music for the occasion, which was listened to and commented on for its excellence by all present. Mr. Robinson came to Rosendale about 20 years ago and has led a peaceful and quiet life during the entire time. His main delight being in the company of his family which consisted of his wife and six children. Henry, as we familiarly called him, was born in England February 22nd, 1855 coming to this country when but a boy. He settled in Rosendale in 1875 and was married to Miss MIldred Hinkley on July 26, 1886. The loving ones that survive him are his wife, who has been his constant help-meet and attendant during his long and trying sickness of nearly two years; and the children, Mrs. Chas. Wollitz, Mrs. Chas. Springborn, Mrs. L. J. Close, Clifford, George and Isabella Robinson of Rosendale who were all present at the funeral and who with the husbands of the married daughters, and other loved ones, followed the remains to the beautiful burial lot at Rosendale where the last said rites took place. The bearers were James Morgan, John Lawson, Emery Lawson, Gus Zinge, Ed Bubolz and Thomas McLaughlin.
