"Piedmont-Mrs. Catherine Philomena Conroy, 81, widow of Joseph T. Conroy, 144 West Fairview Street, died yesterday in Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, where she had been a patient six days.
A native of Piedmont, she was a daughter of the late John Reddington and Catherine (Moylan) Reddington. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Eleanor Conroy, at home; two brothers, Thomas Conroy, McCoole and Joseph Conroy, Westernport; a sister, Mrs. Bridget Malloy, Piedmont; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Boal Funeral Home. A requiem mass will be celebrated Friday at 9 a.m. in St. Peter's Church with interment in the parish cemetery."
