She was born October 2, 1911, in Warsaw, the daughter of Winfred Amos Owen and Maud See Owen.
Miss Owen worked at the Farmer's Mercantile Store in Lincoln for 20 years before moving to Sedalia in 1967.
She also worked at the Fairview Nursing Home in Sedalia and the Sedalia Nutrition Center for several years before moving to Windsor in 1994.
Miss Owen was a member of the First Christian Church in Sedalia and was a former member of the Lincoln Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include two sisters, 10 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 20, at the Hadley Funeral Home in Windsor, with burial in Shawnee Bend Cemetery, Warsaw.
