Ida was married twice, one a long marriage to Eugene D Robinson with whom she had her children, and a second, much shorter marriage to Eugene A Clark after her first husband died.

Ida's married Eugene D Robinson on 20 March 1889 in Bigelow, Holt County, Missouri. Ida was 20 and Eugene 30.

In 1900, the family was living in St Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri and her husband is working as a "solicitor".

Ida and Eugene had 6 children together based on US Census records, all born Missouri:
1. William/Leonard Robinson, b 25 Dec 1889; as an adult worked as a railroad telegrapher
2. George Robinson, b June 1891; d before 1910 (not in 1910 or future Census)
3. Lucille Robinson, b Feb 1893, could not find her after 1910
4. Eugene D Robinson (Jr.), b 24 Oct 1896; d 6 Dec 1943 San Diego, CA
5. Frank C Robinson, b June 1898
6. Milton C Robinson, b 22 Oct 1907; d 12 Sep 1959, Los Angeles, CA

By 1920 the family is living in Kansas City, Kansas (KCK) and Ida's husband is working as a wagon driver for a furniture store. This seems like a big change from a "solicitor".

The 1930 Census is where Ida appears as Ida R Clark. She has remarried, most likely since the death of her first husband in 1928. Ida was about 59 years old at the time of her first husband's death, so she probably was 60 or 61 when she married Eugene A Clark.

Ida's marriage to Eugene A Clark was brief as she died in 1934. It appears she moved into the KCK home her new husband had shared with his first wife and children. In 1930 he's listed as a manager of a "Bird Store" and two of Ida's grown sons are living with the couple (William/Leonard, 40 and Milton, 22).

Even after Ida had died, her second husband appears to have continued to have offered a home to her sons by her first marriage. Indeed, in the 1940 Census, her son Frank C Robinson, 43, is living with Eugene A
Clark in the same home in KCK. I have not been able to locate Eugene A Clark's grave which is why no link appears for him as of this date.
