Goldie Viola Grant, 90, Topeka, died late Wednesday, May 20, 1992, at a Topeka nursing home.
Mrs. Grant had worked for Shawnee Creamery and Heep M Up Stores in North Topeka. She later worked for Liggett Egg Processing and the Supply Depot.
She was born Nov. 24, 1901, in Topeka, the daughter of James M. and Amanda Belle Roberts Pendergrass.
Mrs. Grant attended Topeka Bible Church.
She was married to Stanley R. Grant April 6, 1951, in Topeka. He died Dec. 21, 1979. A son, Oliver James Adams, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two grandsons, and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Grant will lie in state after 4 p.m. today at Davidson Funeral Home where family and friends will meet from 7 until 8 p.m. today.
