On April 12, 1930,
William & Belle, ages 57 & 52, owned a farm in Union Township, Newton Co, AR with his two children Maude, 30 & Grace, 16.

There are some who believe that William died in Limestone Valley on June 1873, believing he was over 100 years old when he died. However, Belle, age 63, a widow, lived alone on a farm on an "unimproved dirt" road in Perry, Johnson Co, AR, on April 15, 1940.
