KATHRYN HAZEL (BETHKE) AYOTTE

Kathryn H. Ayotte, 50, 1809 Michigan Ave., Manitowoc, Wis., died Friday morning,
Nov. 7, 2003, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Kathryn was born Dec. 20, 1952, in Green Bay, Wis., daughter of Peter and Claire
Myers Bethke. She grew up in the Wrightstown area and attended local schools. She
was employed at Mirro Co. for ten years and at Foley Co. for 20 years. On Jan. 15,
1973, she married Alan Ayotte in Manitowoc. Kathryn was a special friend to her
family and enjoyed spending time with her grand babies, flower gardening and crafts.
She was always there for everyone and added extra light to everyone’s day.
Survivors include her husband, Al; her parents, Peter and Claire Bethke, Greenleaf,
Wis.; their two sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse and Nicole Ayotte and their children,
Alexis and Karly Ayotte, Francis Creek; Jason and Laura Ayotte and their children,
Kiara, Payton and Turner Ayotte, Two Rivers; nine brothers, Tim Bethke and fiancee’
Sherri Nate, Tom Bethke, Mike Bethke, Mark and Elizabeth Bethke, Peter and Carla
Bethke, Phil and Nanette Bethke, George Bethke, Matthew and Bobbie Bethke and Joe
and Anne Bethke; nine sisters, Linda Bethke, Lynn Knapp, Karen and Dan Van De Ven,
Nancy and Rick Lemmon, Amy and Ritch Coates, Rebecca and Dallas Amy, Mary and Dave
Yudes, Polly Bethke and fiance’, Doug Boblitch and Laura and Rob Johnson; mother-
in-law, Joyce Ayotte; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom and Cory Ayotte,
Randy and Cindy Ayotte, Mike and Kathy Ayotte, Vicki Ayotte, Carrie and Tom Polzin,
Peggy and Lee Glaeser and Bobbie Jo Ayotte; as well as many nieces, nephews other
relatives and friends. Kathryn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Peter and
Elsie Bethke, Hazel and Nelson Myers, father-in-law, Art Ayotte; brother-in-law,
Todd Ayotte; and a niece Braiden Bethke.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003,
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 702 State St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Dave Hofmann
will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
Relatives and Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday at The Reinbold &
Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State St., Manitowoc and on Tuesday at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. to the time of liturgy at 11 a.m. A Prayer
Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday led by Sister Michael. Reinbold & Pfeffer
Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc is serving the Ayotte Family.
