MARRIED
The marriage of Miss Emma Zeman and J. Auton was solemnized at Sacred Heart
church Monday morning at 6 o'clock, Rev. W. J. Luby performed the ceremony. The
attendants were Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Vits.
The bride is one of our choicest young ladies. She is a daughter of Ex-County
Treasurer Frank Zeman for several years was a deputy in the treasurer's office
and everyone who had business at the office felt the charm of her rare courtesy
and sunny temperment. With a heart of pure as dewdrops trembling on violets, she
will make the home of her husband a paradise of happiness.
The groom is one of the substantial young men of this city. He was county clerk
for six years and discharged the duties of the office with efficiency. He is at
present a salesman for the Aluminum Goods Co., and it is a safe guess that he will
achieve success in his new undertaking. It is doubtful if any young man in the city
is more widely known and counts true friends in larger numbers. The Pilot wishes
this worthy couple a long, pleasant and prosperous life. Mr. and Mrs. Auton have
gone up North for a two weeks' trip and will be "at home" at 702 Huron Street after
August 1.
