George Augustin, 36, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, took his life Monday afternoon at
Kiel.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. D. L. Krembs will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Augustin was born Dec. 27, 1928, at Sheboygan, son of John and Laura Arndt
Augustin. He came to Manitowoc as a child with his parents and attended Manitowoc
parochial schools. He was graduated from Lincoln High School in 1946 and from Wood
Business College, Manitowoc. He had been employed in the office of Fred Radandt
Sons, Manitowoc.
A veteran of World War II, he served from 1946 to 1948 overseas in Japan with
Troop D., Eighth Cavalry, as a sergeant. He was a member of Travelers Protective
Assn. He married Gloria Robinson at Chicago March 27, 1964.
She survives along with his parents of Manitowoc and two sisters, (private).
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Military rites at
will be by Drews-Bleser Post No. 88, American Legion.
