Mrs. Caroline Aude, widow of the late Joseph Aude, who died many years ago,
passed away last night, at the home of her niece, Mrs. Christ Hendries, with
whom she has made her home for a number of years.
The deceased who was 87 years of age, was born in Germany in 1842 her maiden
name being Caroline Brey. She came to this country in 1891, locating in
Manitowoc, where she has since made her home. Two brothers, Edward and Carl
Brey of this city and a niece, Mrs. Hendries survive.
Funeral services will be held from the Hendries home, 727 North Tenth street
at 1:30 Thursday afternoon and at two o'clock from the Lutheran church, Rev.
Uetzman officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen.
