GODFREY ASCHENBRENNER
Godfrey Aschenbrenner, 56, of 851 N. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Friday evening
at Holy Family Hospital. He had been ill for the past year.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, the Rev. E. A. Radey
officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Aschenbrenner was born Nov. 28, 1908, at Lovell, Wyo., son of the late Henry
and Dorothy Altergott Aschenbrenner. He came to Manitowoc in 1906. On Sept. 16,
1935, he married Emma Pomasi? at Arkansaw, Wis.
He was employed for 30 years at Manitowoc Public Utilities where he was a foreman.
Survivors include his wife, a son (private); a daughter, (private); his mother,
Mrs. Henry Aschenbrenner; a brother, Edward of Manitowoc and a grandson, Mark.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where the parish Rosary
will be recited at 7 p.m.
