Mrs. Edward (Arline L.) Aschenbrenner, 66, of 936 N. 8th Street, Manitowoc, died
Thursday morning, January 14, 1988 at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral
services will be 11 am Saturday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc. Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Aschenbrenner was born June 19, 1921 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of
the late Herman and laura Schlei Meisner. She grew up and was educated in Manitowoc,
residing here all her life. Mrs. Aschenbrenner did volunteer work at Holy Family
Hospital. She married Edward Aschenbrenner on April 23, 1946 at Manitowoc. She was
a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edward; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mark and
Donna Aschenbrenner of Manitowoc and James Aschenbrenner of Manitowoc; two daughters,
Karen Richardson of Manitowoc and Dorothy Martin of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother and
sister-in-law, Naomi and Paul Klingholz of Manitowoc; three grandsons, Christopher,
Matthew and Jay; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Friends may call at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei State Street Chapel, Manitowoc,
5 pm to 9 pm Friday and Saturday at the church from 10 am to the time of services.
Memorials may be made to Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
