Mrs. Sarah E. Artz, 79, of 3002 Custer St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Friday in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Marvel Juve will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Artz, nee Sarah Elizabeth Clement, was born Jan. 19, 1899 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Carmen Clement. She was married to John H. Artz July 15, 1920 in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death May 31, 1977.
Survivors include seven sons, Sylvester of Brillion, Ervin of Kaukauna, Frederick of Plainwell, Mich., John Jr. of Black Creek, James of Colorado Springs, Colo., Roger of Gaum and William of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Rosalie) Conradt of Shiocton and Mrs. Shelton (Virginia) Hintz of Fond du Lac; a brother, Clarence of Sheboygan; two sisters, Mrs. Tannie Mansfield and Mrs. Ray (Martha) Schuchardt of Sheboygan; 23 grandchildren and great grandchildren. A son, Norbert and a brother, Martin, preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 pm to 9 pm Thursday and Friday until the time of service.
