Edmund Andrastek, 72, of Chicago, a former Manitowoc resident, died Thursday morning in Chicago. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 am in St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Philip Hoffmann will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Andrastek was born May 30, 1906 in Manitowoc, son of the late Ignatz and Emma Rysticken Andrastek. He moved to Chicago as a young man, residing there since. Prior to his retirement he had been a sailor on the Great Lakes.
Survivors include two daughters, Katherine and Antoinette; a brother, Martin Andrastek and two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Theresa) Penkwitz and Mrs. Alvina Proper of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home after 10 am Saturday until the time of service. The casket will remain closed.
