Mrs. Mary Allen, widow of the late Albert Allen, died at the family home, 513
North Tenth Street, late yesterday, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Allen had
been a patient sufferer following a stroke of paralysis a few years ago.
She was a native of Bohemia and was born on Jan. 4, 1849. With her parents she
came to America as a child of ten years and for twenty two years has been a
resident of this city.
Two sons and two daughters, Mrs. E.W. Petingill of Menasha and Lillian, Edward
and Charles of this city, survive.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Axtell
officiating.
