MISS LILY ALLEN DIES SUDDENLY OF APOPLEXY
Death descended swiftly and with little or no warning this morning, taking the
life of Miss Lillian Allen, daughter of Albert Allen, at the hospital. The
deceased, who had been an invalid for more than 30 years of her life, was in
apparent good health upon arising this morning and was stricken suddenly by
apoplexy.
Miss Allen was born at Greenleaf, May 15, 1877, being 50 years of age, and spent
the last thirty years in Manitowoc. She is survived by her father, Albert Allen,
with whom she made her home, two brothers, Charles and Ed, of this city and a
sister, Mrs. E. W. Pettingill, of Neenah.
The funeral of the deceased is to be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 from the
Charles Allen home on 406? St. Clair street.
