Sylvia M. Addington, 74, of Manassas, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012.
She was born in Abingdon, VA on June 13, 1938 to Marvin Bishop Robinson and Mamie Caledonia (Johnson) Robinson. She was employed by Prince William County Public Schools for over 25 years and attended Manassas Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Jim Addington; one son, James B. Addington, Jr.; one sister, Marylin Hughes; two granddaughters, Ashley Nicole Addington and Mandy Michelle Addington.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin B. Robinson, Jr.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St. Manassas, VA 20110, where funeral services will be held at 10 AM the following day. Graveside services will be 11 AM on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon, VA.
