Visitation for Frederick H. "Fred" Emme, 67, of Bradley, will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais.
Entombment will be in All Saints Cemetery Mausoleum, Bourbonnais. He died Thursday (July 19, 2012) at ManorCare Health Services, Kankakee.
Mr. Emme worked for Home Appliance & Heating in Kankakee. He was born Feb. 26, 1945, the son of Frederick F. and Eleanor Gullquist Emme. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed car shows, tractors and being with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, the former Beverly Guimond, of Bradley, whom he married Nov. 30, 1968, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Trisha Emme, of Bradley; one daughter and son-in-law, Chris and Kevin Hustedt, of Bradley; five grandchildren, Hanna and Haley Hustedt, Tyler and Trever Brownfield and Jason Emme Jr.; his mother, of Chebanse; one sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Darles Scheibe, of Yorkville; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Alan "Butch" and Josephine Emme, of St. Anne, and Ronald and Shirley Emme, of Chebanse.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Darrell Emme.
