Pearl was born December 8, 1917 in Bearden, Arkansas to the late Roland and Rosa Barner and taught first grade in the Magnolia Public Schools for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tyra Stonecipher, her parents, two sisters and seven brothers.
Survivors include a son, Dale Stonecipher and his wife Julia of Fort Worth, Texas, Barner Stonecipher and his wife Louise of Little Rock, Arkansas; Ken Stonecipher of Smyrna, Tennessee; two sisters, Daphne Bennett and Rosemary Barner, both of Camden, Arkansas; three grandsons, David Stonecipher and wife Cheryl of Mansfield, Texas, John Stonecipher and wife Jennifer of Roanoke, Texas, Chris Stonecipher and wife Leah of Little Rock, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Becky Beckham and husband Keith of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pearl, a life-long member of the Church of Christ and a devoted servant of the Lord, was an avid reader, a wonderful cook and baker, loved to travel and was an accomplished seamstress, sewing for herself and family for many years. She quilted as a hobby and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012 with graveside services at 4 p.m. at Magnolia City Cemetery.
