Private funeral service of Robert Wilbur Orr, 80, G. A. R. veteran and father-in-law of O. C. Barber, who died Tuesday was held today. He was one of Akron’s oldest residents, coming here in 1876. His first business venture was with Brinkman and Potter’s shoe store, then located on Howard st. After retiring from the shoe business he served as street inspector for a number of years. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mollie Orr, he is survived by two sons, James P. Orr, Cincinnati; Lieut. Benton H. Orr, Montgomery, Ala., and five daughters, Mrs. Mary Orr Barber, Barberton, Ohio; Mrs. Marion Arnold, Everett, Washington; Mrs. W. H. Crunert, Green Bay, Wis.; Mrs. George W. Daum, Jeanette, Pa., and Miss Flora Orr, Birmingham, Ala.
