Justina married widower Arthur A. Metcalf November 10, 1926 and moved to MA where Arthur was born and raised. Arthur was in the ship building profession as perhaps a machinest or welder.

Their "how I met story" was very interesting and goes something like this. They met thru a Lonely Hearts Club, which was popular in the 1920's. Arthur may have been the one that advertised for a wife since his first wife had died around 1923.

Justina was living in the small town of Tioga at that time with few eligable men around their middle 30's. She probably read the Lonely Hearts news and contacted Arthur.

It's unclear if Justina and Arthur married in Texas or Mass. But on the 1930 census they were still living in Norfork, MA. By 1940, Arthur & Justina had moved to rural Cooke County, Tx where Arthur was working for the WPA building a gym for a public school. Family info shows they had moved to Gainesville so Justina could care for her aging mother. Justina lived to see her 99 birthday.
