John Diehl Lanacster was born in Quakertown, PA. He married Lavina Sassaman July 31, 1858 in Point Pleasant, PA. by Rev. H.C. Putnam per the Bucks Co. Intelligencer. They moved to Falls & McLennan Co Texas prior to 1880. His wife, Lavina, is buried beside him. Information from Death Certificate. He did have a marker that had a brass or metal plaque on the granite marker. Both he and his wife, Lavina, were listed in McLennan County, Texas Cemetery Book II, copyrighted 1973.I have a very poor quality picture of his marker that was copied from the internet but I can not locate the site again. Sadly the brass plaque was stolen and Lavina's marker is no longer there.
