Betty M. Eddleman, 85, a resident of Wheatland, died Monday, May 5, 2008 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland.

She was born April 10, 1923 in North Platte, Nebraska, and was reared and educated in Torrington, Wyoming. She graduated from the Torrington High School in 1941. She was married to Jack Eddleman on October 25, 1941 in Gering, Nebraska. They started their married life in Torrington, and moved to Wheatland in 1953. She remained a resident of Wheatland until the time of her death. She was a member of the Saint Patricks Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, and several card and craft clubs. She was a homemaker who loved her home and family.

She is survived by her children, Terry Lee Eddleman and Cathy Sue Evans both of Wheatland; sons-in-law, Arnold Cox of Cheyenne, Wyoming and David Evans of Wheatland; sister, Erma Petty of Torrington; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Jack, on February 7, 2003; daughter Nancie Kay Cox, on September 23, 2007; great grandson, Casey Niemczyk, on February 10, 1998; one brother; and one sister.
