Ludlow, Vermont

Mrs. Maria P. Bradish passed away Sunday afternoon. She had been an invalid for several years, during which time she was a great sufferer. In December last she had the misfortune to fall and fracture her hip, which rendered her comparatively helpless. During the last few weeks of her life, her suffering was intense. She lost her husband four years ago in May. During her illness she was kindly and patiently cared for by her son, who alone survives her. About thirty hours before death came to her relief she sank into a lethargic condition and remained unconscious until the end. Funeral services were held at the house Sunday afternoon, Rev. J. O. Davis of Chester, officiating. Burial in the village cemetery.
