Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Balko Mennonite Brethren Church with Rocky Anderson officiating and James Epps, pastor, assisting. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery by Clark Funeral Service of Beaver.
Mr. Cowan was born Sept. 4, 1914, in Beaver County to Lloyd John Cowan and Ola Mae Claybrook Cowan. He married Mildred Mitchell on Dec. 20, 1940, in Hooker.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, DeWayne Cowan, Stevie Cowan, Billy Cowan and Dannie Cowan, all of Balko, and Carl Cowan of Perryton, Texas; a daughter, Jeannie Benson of Amarillo, Texas; a brother, Beryl Cowan of Bolivar, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
