Earl Owen Miley, 82, died at Valley Baptist Medical Center on 4 January 1985. He was born on 15 October 1985 in Forrest, Mississippi. He had resided in Harlingen, Texas since 1930. He was a pressman for the Valley Morning Star for 37 Years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Harlingen, Texas. Survivor's are his widow Dorothy Rogers Miley, of Harlingen, one son Ronald O. Miley of Arlington, Texas. A brother Elwood Miley of Lufkin, Texas, two sisters, Maurine Martin, of Columbus, Mississippi and Agnes Hartley of Waco, Texas and one grandson Jonathan Miley of Arlington, Texas. Services will be conducted by Rev. Andy Odum at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas.
