Midvale~ Virginia Graff Palen, age 72, passed away March 12, 1983, in a local Hospital.
Born July 26, 1910, in Salt Lake City, to Charles Jacob and Georgianna Dobbs Graff.
She married Stanley E Goodwin in Salt Lake City. He died 09/25/1931.
Later she married Clarence James Palen, May 24, 1941, in Cheyenne Wyoming, who is retired from Western Electric Co.
She Graduated from the University of Utah in 1937.
Member Catholic Church, St. Vincents and St. Teresa's Parish. She will always be remembered for her many kindnesses to her family and friends.
Survived by: Husband, Midvale; Sisters Merrille G. Glover, Santa Clara UT; Goldie Charleen Carroll, Salt Lake City; Brother Charles Theodore Graff, Phoenix, AZ.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10 am at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, B street on So. Temple. Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, 6:30 till 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions be sent to the Utah Cancer Society. Burial, Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
