Della Mae Cox Kees, 84, of Georgetown, died at 3:32 p.m. Monday (Jan. 9, 2006) at Hoopeston Community Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 22, 1921 in Hildreth, a daughter of Frank and Eliza Maybelle Green Cox. She married Joseph Edwin Kees on Aug. 1, 1940. He died May 24, 1995. She was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Michael Kees and John Richard Kees, both of Catlin; a daughter, Judith Ann Stark of Hoopeston; two brothers, Arley Raymond Cox of Muskegon, Michigan and Eric Eugene Cox of Onalaska, Wisconsin; a sister, Alice Marie Hall of Westville; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
