Lola Marie Wilkins, 97, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Braun's Nursing Home. She was born July 8, 1921, in Webster County, Kentucky, to the late Andrew and Bessie Phillips. Lola was a self-employed Cosmetologist for over 30 years. She graduated from Central High School in 1939. Lola was a lifetime member of Grace Baptist church. She loved dogs; was a member of Pure Breed dog Breeders Association. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wilkins; sons, Frank and Ronnie Wilkins; and grandsons, David and Shawn Wilkins. Lola is survived by son, Rick Wilkins (Carolyn); daughter-in-law, Trechia Wilkins; grandchildren, Lavonna, Charles, Kellie, and Frank Wilkins; and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Tupman Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
