It is with sadness that we chronicle the death of Mrs. Ethel Vick, wife of Henry Vick.
She professed religion in early womanhood and joined the Pentecostal church, and lived a devoted Christian until her death, April 19, 1921.
She married Henry Walter Vick May 13, 1919 in Pope County, to which union two children were born.
She lived an admirable life and enemies were unknown to her.
She leaves a husband, two little daughters, father, mother, six sisters and one brother, besides many other relative and a host of friends. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community.
The funeral services were conducted at the Pisgah Cemetery by her pastor, Brother Ramsey on Wednesday, April 20, the large crowd in attendance attesting the high esteem in which this worthy young woman was held.
