John B. Hungershoefer
John B. Hungershoefer, 79 year-old coppersmith, died yesterday at his home, 25 Garden Terr., Delmar, after an illness of several months.
Mr. Hungershoefer, a native of Germany who came to this country as a young man, was employed in the Albany Copper Works for a number of years prior to his retirement in 1935. He was a communicant of Holy Cross Church and a member of its Holy Name Society.
Husband of the late Katherine Schmidt, Mr. Hungershoefer is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Louis Smith, and a grandson, John B. Smith of Delmar.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Saturday at Zwack and Sons Mortuary and at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church where a Solemn Mass of Requiem will be celebrated. Burial will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery.
