CONCORDIA — Archie Willoughby, 61, Concordia, died Thursday, June 1, 1989, at the Republic County Hospital, Belleville. Mr. Willoughby was born July 28, 1927, at Miltonvale and had been a Cloud County resident most of his life. He was a meat cutter for 44 years; and owned and operated a grocery store in Concordia before retiring. He was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the Moose Lodge and the American Legion, all of Concordia.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria of the home; two daughters, Kim Bicker of Wamego and Vicki Boling of Omaha, Neb.; two sons, Randy of Minneapolis and Troy of Concordia; his mother, Mary Miller of Concordia; a brother, Richard of Eskridge; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, the Rev. John Lahey officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Clyde. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
