MELVIN LEROY BURGER , passed away late yesterday afternoon at the family home on the Schrader farm east of town, after an extended illness of leakage of the heart. The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from the home in charge of Rev. W.L. Collin of Fourth Street Methodist church. Burial will be in the White Church cemetery. Mr. Burger has been a resident of this vicinity for many years and has many friends. He is survived by his wife and two small children, Dorothy Mae, age 6 and Lawrence five years old. His father, A John Burger and the following brothers and sisters also survive. Isaac Burger of Canada, Mrs. Ida Stern, who resides near this city, Mrs. Luther Ridge of near Dixon, Mrs. Sybl Dempsey of Polo, Mrs. Mayme Gilbert of Polo, Mrs. Dorothy Chrift of near Polo, Mrs. Joe Ganound of Homewood, Illinois and Irving Burger of Jordan township.
