Ehrhardt - Myrtle C. Campbell Kinard, 74, died Monday at her residence. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. James United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Cooner Funeral Home of Bamberg, will be in the Ehrhardt Cemetery. Mrs. Kinard was born in Givhans, a daughter of Adam H. Clayton and Julia Parler Clayton. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Joseph W. 'Wink' Kinard; two sons, Thomas H. Campbell of Vance and Willie Campbell of Ehrhardt; two brothers, John H. Clayton of Givhans and Jackie D. Clayton of Granada, Miss.; three sisters, Louise Puttle and Betty Freeman, both of Givhans, and India Poirier of Summerville; and a grandchild. © The Post and Courier, Charleston, SC, 19 Jan 1999
