Michael 'Mike' J. Emile (1906-1971) died on May 28, 1971 in the Howard Memorial Hospital at Biloxi, Mississippi. He married Bernice Abbley (1909-2006), the daughter of Frederick P. Abbley (1882-1941) and Viola Caillavet Abbley (1884-1968), in Harrison County, Mississippi on July 1, 1931.
Mike Emile was survived by his spouse; daughters: Eunice Ann Emile 1936-1999) m. Bermond Crocker, Houston, Texas and Bernice 'Beth' Elizabeth Emile m. Charles Rawls, Laurel, Mississippi; and Otto Emile (1904-1983), a brother, Biloxi.
Mike's funeral serviced were under the auspices of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home with a mass an Nativity B.V.M. followed by internment in the Biloxi Cemetery.
