Claude Guelig, 72, Menasha, died Saturday, May 11, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.
He was born July 29, 1912 in Marytown, son of the late Joseph and Theresa Schmitz Guelig.
On October 26, 1936 he married Frances Keuler at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockbridge.
He farmed all of his life in the town of Chilton, retiring in 1975.
Mr. Guelig was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Chilton.
He is survived by his wife, two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Guelig and Loretta Guelig, both of Appleton, and one brother, Edmund Guelig, Waupun.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Funeral Mass was at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Chilton, with the Rev. David Christel, pastor, as celebrant. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
