Hester Lucille Akers O'Banion was born March 5, 1930, in Blairstown, the daughter of William Akers and Audrey Caldwell Akers. She passed away February 21, 1994, at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, at the age of 63.
Lucille lived in this area most of her life. She was married to Benie O'Banion and for a time they made their home in Montrose. She was a housewife and mother. She lived in Clinton for a number of years, moving to Independence just seven months ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benie, on January 12, 1977.
Funeral services were Thursday, February 24, at the Consalus Chapel in Clinton. Burial was in Englewood Cemetery.
