Ella Mae (Russell) Jackson, age 75, of Fountain Run, KY, a resident of Monroe Health & Rehab passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 in Tompkinsville, KY. The Monroe County native was the daughter of the late Sidney Franklin and Emily Ova (Dismon) Russell. She married Mitchell Leon Jackson December 29, 1956 in Clay County, TN who survives.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas, Mortie Robin, Billy Joe, Jimmy Lee, Irvin Ray, Elzie D. Russell, James Creek and grandson, Brad Coe. . She was a homemaker, farm wife, and a member of the Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral Services for Ella Mae (Russell) Jackson were conducted on Friday afternoon July 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church. Brother Tim Eaton officiated. Interment followed in the Fountain Run Cemetery. Jeremy Bandy, Jacob Bandy, John Bandy, Shawn Russell, Kenneth Russell, David Phillips & Eugene Russell served as pallbearers.

Other than her husband of 55 years survivors include, son, Kenneth Jackson and wife Debbie, daughter, Brenda Bandy and husband Ricky, brothers, Charles Russell and wife Judy and Carl Russell all of Fountain Run, sister, Alma Lee Phillips and husband Annie Dee of Gamaliel, grandchildren, Jeremy & Jacob Bandy and John Jackson and great-grandchild, Haisley Bandy.
