Mrs. Mary McPherson, 93, a resident of Charles City since 1933 died Wednesday evening at a Charles City nursing home where she had been a patient since August 15, 1971.

Mrs. McPherson was born in Aurora, MO. on October 21, 1879. She was married to Frank McPherson.

Mrs. McPherson was a member of the Christian Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. J.E. (Blanche) Price of Charles City with whom she had made her home prior to entering the nursing home; one son Clyde Patrick McPherson (1909-1992) of Kansas City, Kansas; two grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three sons, Gordon, Taft and Byron McPherson.
