Anton Deleski, 78, Is Buried Saturday In Argyle Cemetery
Funeral services for Anton Pilakowski Deleski, 78, were held Saturday morning from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Argyle with Rev. Henry Carriere officiating. He died last Wednesday at Warren Hospital after a short illness.
Burial was in the church cemetery. Bearers were Frank Borowicz, Curtis Bergeron, Floyd Rapacz, Jim Robertson, Leonard Stoltman and Adolph Myrfield. Quanrud Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Deleski was born Nov. 5, 1903 in Grand Island, Neb., son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Deleski[stepfather]. He came to Argyle as a young boy and lived in that area since. He was married to Helen Witkowski June 16, 1934 at Argyle.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Arden (Shirley) Sundby of Argyle; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and a sister, Clara Brodie. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
