Mr. GOODY MCMANUS DIED AT AGE OF EIGHTY YEARS

Died at Resident of Granddaughter On Walker Street.

Mr. Goody McManus died at the residence of his granddaughter, Mrs. J. H. Wilhelm of 1942 Walker Street yesterday. He was eighty years of age and was a farmer. He had only been sick for about nine days and his death was quite a shock to his many friends. He had resided in Augusta for only four years. The funeral will take place from The Crawford Avenue Baptist Church is morning at 11 o'clock.

He was a member of this Church. The Rev. Thomas Walker will officiate and the interment will be in the West View Cemetery.

He is survived by two sons, T. L. and W. B. McManus of Grovetown, four daughters, Mrs. J. H. Randall of this city, Mrs. W. P. McManus of Gracewood, Mrs. James Eubanks of Appling and Mrs. John Partridge of Berzelia Ga.
