MARY L. CARGILL
Mary L. Cargill, 91, of Hart, passed away Sunday Aug.15, 2004 in the Oceana County Medical Care Facility in Hart. Mary was born Aug. 21, 1912 in Oceana County to Ira and Mabel (Ruggles) Fuller. She married Gerald (Jerry) Cargill in Hart March 16, 1935, who preceded her in death. Mary retired from the Gambles Store in Hart after many years of service and attended the United Methodist Church in Hart.
Mary is survived by son, Harley and Mary Kay Cargill of Florida; son, Jerry and Mary Cargill of New Era; five grandchildren, Scott and Melissa Cargill, Sarah and Geoff Schultz, Brandi and Chad Neuman, Tom Cargill, and Craig Cargill; five great grandson's; sister, Laura and Kermit Ames of Kalamazoo; also surviving are several nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; daughter, Arlene Cargill; sister, Ida Bell Hardy; brothers, Archie Fuller and Elmer Fuller.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday Aug.19, 2004 at Hart United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ben Lester officiating. Burial will be in Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday Aug. 18, at Tate Funeral Chapel, Hart. Memorial contributions may be made to Hart United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Tate Funeral Chapel, Hart, 231-873-3415.
