Services for Brenda Luce Mooney age 68 of Houston will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Bailey & Foster Chapel, Grapeland with Rev. Todd Nivens officiating. Burial will follow at McCarter Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mrs. Mooney died Tuesday at Asford Gardens in Houston. She was born June 1, 1944 in Grapeland to George C. and Hazel McQueen Luce. She was a retired dispatcher for Yellow Cab after 25 years of service. Mrs. Mooney was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Grapeland. Mrs. Mooney was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Mooney and a sister Nancy Lawrence. She is survived by her son Christopher Mooney of Houston, mother-in-law Eva Mooney of Katy, sisters Jean Minter of Grapeland and Patricia Stapp of Houston, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Condolence calls will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Bailey & Foster Chapel, Grapeland.
