Olin Johnson officiating, A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM in Pickle Cemetery in Early County with Rev. Sterling Jones officiating
#Mr. Davis was born March 20, 1949 in Blakely, son of the late George "Byrd" Auburn Davis and Etteen Temples Davis. He was a graduate of Early county High School in 1969 and Albany Tech in 1989 as a Radiology Technician and in 1972 from Albany Tech in Data Processing. He was an x-ray technician for Crisp Hospital and Phoebe-Sumter Regional Hospital. Mr. Davis was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Davis was an avid gardener and had received the Garden of The Month Award in Shellman.
#Survivors include 2 daughters, Nicole Davis Wilson of Leesburg, and Vonda Davis of Atlanta, 2 brothers, George "Scaper" Davis, and Jimmy Davis of Albany, 4 sisters, Peggy Willoughby of Dothan, AL, Loretta Alexander of Albany, Betty Sue Davis of Port St. Joe, FL, and Barbara Jean Barron of Blakely, 3 grandchildren, Shelby, Madison and Reagan Wilson and 21 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James "Buck" Davis, Billy Davis and a sister Linda Davis.
