The wife of James Glenn Bittner married 20 January 1965, Cheryl Revelle Bittner, of Sabillasville, MD, entered into Heavenly rest August 23.
She was the daughter of the late Calvin S. Sr. and Margaret A. Bussard Burrier.
Mrs. Bittner was employed by the U.S. Navy. She was a 1963 graduate of Thurmont High School. She was a member of the Moose Lodge 1582 Brunswick, the Cascade American Legion Post 239 Ladies Auxiliary and the Blue Ridge Sportsmans Association.
She was the wife of James G. Bittner for 39 years and surviving, in addition to him, are one daughter, Stacie K. Maichle of Fairfield, PA; one son, Aaron G. Bittner of Rockymount, NC; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret Mann of Brunswick, MD, Jane Carbaugh of Thurmont, MD, Anne Moore of Dallas, TX, and Barbara Kramer of Leesburg, FL; three brothers, Howard Burrier of Mount Airy, MD, Kenneth Burrier of Thurmont, MD, and George Burrier of Punta Gorda, FL, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, infant girl Burrier and Nancy Burrier, and two brothers, Calvin Burrier Jr. and James Burrier Sr.
