Ralph A. Acosta, Sr, 63, well known Tampa notary public and former chief of police in West Tampa, died suddenly at his home yesterday. A resident of Tampa for more than 45 years, Mr. Acosta is survived by his widow, Mrs. Maria Acosta; four sons, Mario Acosta, Rodolfo Acosta, Rolando Acosta and Ralph Acosta, jr.; two daughters, Mrs. Esperanza Sanchez and Miss Josephine Acosta, and nine grandchildren.
