Oct. 31, 1925 -May 11, 2009 NAPPANEE - Kenneth Wayne "Jake" Gall, 83, of LuAnn Nursing Home, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday (May 11, 2009) in LuAnn Nursing Home.
He was born Oct. 31, 1925, in Nappanee to Roscoe Lloyd and Evelyn (Lutes) Gall.
Mr. Gall is survived by one sister, Shirley (Jerry) Wringer of Nappanee. He was preceded in death by one brother, Willard Gall; one sister, Mabel Brindal; and one half-brother, Richard Howard.
A lifelong area resident, he retired from Mutschler Brothers, Nappanee. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of Nappanee American Legion and a former member of the Nappanee VFW.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, 950 N. Main St., Nappanee. The funeral service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Sam Bennett of First Church of God officiating. Military graveside services will be rendered by the Nappanee American Legion at Stony Point Cemetery.
