Ralph Edgar Canaday, 76, of Williamsport Route 2, died at 5:35 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 1976 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, where he had been a patient one week.
He had lived in Cayuga, Ind. and Grayling, Mich., before moving to this area 35 years ago. He was a retired coal miner.
He was born Feb. 14 (sic 18), 1900 in Quaker, Ind. He married Leatha Wampier, who survives.
Other survivors include a son, Ralph Jr. of San Jose, Calif. and three granddaughters, Telly, Shelly, and Melanine of Cayuga.
A sister preceded him in death.
Services were at 10:30 Monday at the Fisher Funeral Home in West Lebanon.
