Mrs. Attie Faye Whitfield died Thursday, October 19, in the John Gaston Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. At the time of her death she was 43 years old and had been living in the Hayti community 17 years. She was born in Euion, Ark., May 12, 1907. She is the wife of Ollie Whitfield also of Hayti.
Funeral services were held at the German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele, October 10, with Bro. Mayhan officiating. The German Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Survived her is her husband, one son, three daughters, two stepsons, two step daughters, her father and four brothers.
