Francis J. Macero Sr. age 56, of 4 Vose Street, Ansonia, CT. passed away unexpectedly on Sunday Ausust 22, 2004 at the St. Joseph's Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was the husband of the late Patricia Pumphrey Macero. Mr. Macero was born in Derby on August 25, 1947 son of the late Nicholas T. and Grace Jeannetti Macero. He retired with the rank of Sergeant from the Ansonia Police Department after eighteen years. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he had served honorably with the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Church and its Catholic Men's Club. He is survived by two sons. Francis J. Macero Jr. and his wife Jeannette and Matthew P. Macero and his wife Suzanne all of Seymour, a daughter Jennifer Lynn Macero of Ansonia, two brothers Louis R. Macero and his wife Vivian and Nicholas T. Macero Jr. and his wife Anita, two sisters Lisa Macero and Patricia S. Macero of Ansonia, a grandson Francis J. Macero III and grand-daughter Brigette Macero, his godmother Patricia G. Macero of Ansonia and former wife Sandra Kapusta Franko of Ansonia as well as several nieces and nephews. Entombment will be in Mt. St. Peters Garden Mausoleum in Derby, CT
